Barbara Watson is
a medical social worker whose appreciation of healthful living
and background in long term healthcare led her to a career in
lifestyle education. After years of observing the results of faulty
lifestyle in her own life and in the lives of suffering patients,
she discovered that God has the perfect plan for restoration and
maintenance of total health. Teaming up with healthcare specialists
in the area of prevention and wellness, she developed expertise
in nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
Her passion for cooking led her to develop skill in the preparation
of natural foods, and she now dedicates her energies to instructing
others. She served for eight years as the Director of Nutrition
Services at a wellness center in Virginia, sharing the blessing
of vegetarian foods, simply prepared in attractive, tasty recipes.
She has been a featured guest on television and radio programs,
served as the Nutrition Advisor for the Vegetarian Society of
Richmond, Virginia, and has presented numerous seminars throughout
the east coast and beyond. As Director of
Lifestyle Design, she is actively engaged in training StepFast
Lifestyle Seminar facilitators.
